Semi-Sweets
Semi-Sweets is located at 300 E. First St. in Flint.
Rachel Hougen’s passion for pastries carried her through culinary school and inspired her to open Semi-Sweets. Since 2014, she’s been making small-batch baked goods to provide her community with the freshest possible sweets. The items on Semi-Sweets’ menu change frequently depending on what seasonal and local items are available at the market that day. However, on an average day, you’re likely to find baked goods like cake, signature cookies, French macarons, scones, fresh fruit tarts, dessert parfaits, creme brulee, or fresh fruit salsa.
With a focus on high-quality ingredients and a love of special events, Semi-Sweets is ideal for small parties or large weddings. Whether you know exactly what custom creation you want, or you need some help to figure it out, Semi-Sweets is ready to get creative and accommodate your baked-goods needs. Check out its menu online, which includes some gluten-free items, or stop by the store or farmers market to explore the goodies for yourself.

Cinnamom
Cinnamom is located at 5454 Perry Road in Grand Blanc.
Cinnamom, as featured on QVC, has become a household name for one-of-a-kind cinnamon rolls. Shirley Welch created the ultimate cinnamon roll recipe, baking for family and friends who all thought the cinnamon rolls were worthy of national recognition. Eventually, her daughter, Rebecca Nagy, opened Cinnamom and the cinnamon-roll business flourished locally and nationally. Since 2013 Rebecca and her husband, Craig, have created over 50 ways to enjoy gooey, glazed cinnamon rolls.
You can’t go wrong trying Grandma’s Original Cinnamon Roll with its traditional glaze, but you’re missing out if you don’t try some of Cinnamom’s more unique flavors. The Peanut Butter Cup Cinnamon Roll whips real peanut butter into the buttercream frosting and has peanut butter cups and chocolate sauce on top. The Banana Split Cinnamon Roll oozes banana pudding buttercream, has strawberry and chocolate sauces, and has peanuts and maraschino cherries on top.
