Chevy Tahoe vs. Toyota Sequoia: Exterior

Chevy outfits the Tahoe with 18-inch, 20-inch, or 22-inch all-season blackwall tires. Wheel style choices include gloss, gloss black, chrome, or aluminum. All trims feature acoustic laminated glass to help reduce noise from traffic.

Getting in and out is easy with standard black assist steps to ensure solid footing. Load and unload cargo effortlessly using the hands-free lift gate. For safety, the Tahoe comes with LED daytime running lamps, headlights, and taillights, along with automatic high beams. For the adventurous, the Tahoe comes with available black roof rack cross rails.

The Sequoia also features LED headlights and automatic high beams for safety. For ease of use, the windshield wipers offer a deicing function and intermittent settings. Some Sequoia trims come standard with roof rails; others allow you to add them as an option. You have a slightly narrower set of tire and wheel choices, with 18-inch and 20-inch options in black or silver alloy.

Chevy Tahoe vs. Toyota Sequoia: Interior

Inside, the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe brings you a world of comfort and ease. All models seat a minimum of seven passengers comfortably; the LS has room for one extra, bringing capacity to eight. The models offer up to 123 cubic feet of space and 43 cubic inches of headroom.

Across the trims, you can customize your ride through the 10-way power-adjustable driver and passenger seats. Some models include a power 60/40 split in the third-row bench seat; this feature allows each side to fold flat independently.

The Tahoe SUVs come with either 8-inch or 10-inch diagonal color touch screens that power the infotainment center. Connecting your mobile phone to the system via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto means you can enjoy music and podcasts from your playlists or access other applications.

The Sequoia also has room for seven passengers, and the SR5 trim has room for an eighth. The driver’s seat is eight-way power-adjustable, and some trim choices offer six-way power-adjustable passenger seats. You and your passengers can set the temperature you prefer through the three-zone climate control function.

Toyota boasts roughly equivalent cargo space at about 120 cubic feet, but slightly less in the way of headroom at 35 inches. One highlight of the Sequoia interior is the second-row heated captain’s seats.

The Sequoia trims include an infotainment system revolving around a 7-inch color touch-screen display with either an eight- or a 12-speaker audio system. Connect your mobile phone to the system via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to use phone apps or play music, news, or podcasts.
